Lindsey's Concentration #1

For my concentration I am using the principle of analogous colors to create pop-art inspired pieces. In pop-art, artists celebrated common people and things by turning them into high art. I want my concept to be based around the idea of something simple being turned into art. Below are some experiments.

I think I want to stick with portraits instead of objects and try to use darker colors instead of black for the contrast parts. I also want to try and incorporate patterns in by using props (for example, spiral pattern in sunglasses).
