Update : 3 more pieces that are in progress but nearing the end. The top is cool because it has a lot of emphasis on that blue and yellow color scheme. I also solved one of my problems by adding a model making it seem more of my work. The second is an attempt at growth. I added much more areas of color besides one focus. I cant decide if i want to blur the background or not but for now I have. That one needs more work. Finally, the last one has the opaque Vegas sign in the background with three areas of color, again for growth.
***The one below normally doesn't have black boxes I added it just in case for this post***
The first image of the emphasized girl graffiti is perhaps one of your strongest images in this post. The way the person is integrated in the graffiti makes the image interesting because at first everything appears to be two dimensional but when the eye glances over the person, the 2-D feel is gone and the image becomes more appealing. The positioning of the subject in the photo was rightly placed.
ReplyDeleteAs for the second image, I see what you're trying to do... I would recommend using an image that has more of a focus to it so that your image doesn't look so busy.
Finally, for the third image, I like where you are going with the idea of creating composites. Once again, consider your focus and what you're trying to emphasize because there is a lot of negative space in this photo and I'm not so sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. Maybe if you got closer to the stratosphere you'd be able to fill in more space. A friendly tip: the Vegas sign in this photo is not opaque, it's translucent ;)
