My concentration is using portrait photography and putting them with mostly landscape. I am creating unity by blending together the silhouette of a person and the landscape. I want to focus more on the silhouettes without any facial detail (the one at the bottom).

I really like your idea, especially the 2nd one. I think it looks nice when you can see a little bit of the person's features still. I think poses that match the background would be good as well! I really like your background photos though, they are very in focus and clear. Nice!
ReplyDeleteKayleigh Schwartz please replace the words nice and good with a 50 cent word! VOCAB!!!! Also what exactly do you mean when you say very in focus?
DeleteI like this idea because its very broad. Backgrounds and expressions are infinite. One suggestion may be to relate the facial mood and background tone.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with your selections of the outlines. Other than that its A1.
I like the 1st and 3rd images because they feel a lot cleaner and more towards where you want to end up (no facial recognition), it also adds emphasis. I think taking picture of more cityscapes or fuller nature landscapes may help the images not feel so empty, you're getting mostly the sky which calls for a lot of empty space.
ReplyDeleteI think the first image of the three looks the most balanced and dimensional. The inclusion of facial features complements the simple background. The second one in my opinion is a bit busy, the third a bit plain. Definitely a good way to demonstrate growth.
