Edited Concentration Pieces- Lighting Patterns

These are a few out of the (almost) final pieces I did before break and have been editing over time, using a light modifier that created patterns in my shots. (Shout out to Gabby, the best paper board holder at WCTA) Any critiques are appreciated. What should I do next?  What worked and what didn't, in your opinion? Which one do you like the most/least?

  1. My favorites upon seeing these photos were immediately 1, 4, and 5. I think I like these particular photos so much because the light catches her eye really well and makes them piercing and intense looking. I especially like 4 because I feel like you can see the detail of her iris really well. Also, her hair frames her face really nicely I think and creates a nice shape and some texture without being too much.
I also really like the shadow patterns and how they leave it up to the viewers imagination to determine what is casting the shadow upon her face.
