In the analogous colors image, the parts of the giraffe that are cut off seem slightly off to me. Maybe they should be cut off slightly more to make it look more purposeful. I think your pattern image is really good!
These are amazing! Love your use of multiple principles of design in each image. The second image incorporates pattern as well as complementary colors, which enhances the artistic value. My only suggestion would be to brighten up the giraffe's eye, because I think the contrast between the black outline and a brighter color would really make it pop.
