Concentration

This post is a lot later than it should be, but I was unable to post on blogger until now. I had only made two more images for my concentration. This is what I created during winter break.
This is a screenshot of the image. This will be one of the full statues that I was lacking.
I have added on some cracked concrete on the face of the statue.
I have decided that I personally favor the first image since it would better fit with my need for whole and complete statues. Now I don't have all those cracks to worry about and this could serve as my first image. I am happy to report that I have learned a couple of new things over break since most of the time I was still experimenting. I have firstly decided that maybe I'll keep the hair to show that this is a metamorphosis even from the beginning. I have learned a new technique which is to use the patch tool for the lips to take out detail and make it look more simplistic. This sort of simplicity is the same style that statues normally have (no profound detail on the face since it is stone). I used the same technique on the eyes and it made it much more simpler.

  1. The face of this photo is great! However, I feel as though that you should pay attention to your background or possibly manipulate the background. In this photo, the viewer is exposed to the house background.
