I've been playing with triptychs and also groupings of four. I think I like them better when they are either warm or cool-toned, but not both. I am getting gels from Capstone, so I'll be experimenting with those next. Any suggestions?
I like the progression of the colors in the last image from pink to green. I also like how, unlike your early pieces, the 4 images appear to be less like a child drew it and a bit more like a filtered photograph. The film strip border is a neat idea, perhaps you could experiment with a progression of movement of the subject from left to right.
The film strip is very creative! A suggestion is for the film, make the first black and white or just a tint of color, and is goes to the next, add an opacity of color, and by the fourth its the darkest shade of that color, so it shows progression of color.

ReplyDeleteI like the progressive colors, but to continue progressing I would change the pose to create stronger images
