Here are the images from my most recent shoot. I took a new direction and did not focus on someone's face. I really like the direction that this take my portfolio and for my next shoot I am going to focus on another section of the body. I also used a different light set up and instead of using two stationary hot lights, I used one and held on to it so I could place light emphasis in the exact part that I wanted highlighted.
Are you going to focus on just feet?
ReplyDeleteYour principle is very clear in these images.I think focusing on just one part of the body is a good idea because it makes your pictures more dramatic.
ReplyDeleteI think you're going in the right direction. I think you should continue to do certain parts of the body and show different sports liken baseball basketball and show the ball/ bat in their hands. Overall, keep doing this because you're lighting and focus are on point.
ReplyDeleteI really like these photos. One of my favorite things is how the point of contact between the feet and floor is shown. Also, the shadow of her feet/legs really helps to draw my eye to the point of contact.
ReplyDeleteI think it would be neat to experiment with taking photos of her arms and hands in interesting poses.
I really like these and I think you should continue with what you are doing. You should work more with the shadows to draw the eye back in

ReplyDeleteThese photos are spectacular! I agree with Abby and believe that playing with shadows would greatly assist you in making the photo more dramatic. Moreover, I think using the original color of the photo is stronger than using monochrome gray. For example, your second to last photo demonstrates more interest with the muted pink tones showing through compared to the last one.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. The shadows really show emphasis and I think thats what you are going for. Well done.
