These are the same photos as before; however, I put them in triptychs and diptychs. I am not sure if this is the direction I want to go, or if I want to stick with single images. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
In your second image (the one with the model looking at the camera) you could remove lighting from the eyes to make them look more dull, giving a depressed effect. Otherwise, very nice.
In the first triptych, it feels rather unbalanced with most of the weight falling on the left side of the series, not the right. It's almost like justified text, and provides cool impact with the negative space, but I'm honestly not sure if I like the effect or if it makes the piece overall feel less thoughtful. I'm at a crossroads, but the impact overall and the aesthetic you're going for is more than achieved.

ReplyDeleteI really think you should keep going with this idea. The triptychs/diptychs make is look like you're telling a story, and it's really intriguing.
