Concentration update #3

Last week I did another photo shoot with a friend to get more pictures for my concentration. In photoshop I took her silhouette and added a picture of flowers that I had taken.
Than Mrs. P showed me a picture (the post below) and I decided to only make some of the person have flowers instead of the whole body being made up of them.
I am going to take more pictures to add a background, maybe some urban settings. I will also be taking pictures of multiple people and doing something along the lines of what Mrs. P had showed me.

  1. I think you should use a flower picture that doesn't have as many white gaps.

  2. I like how in the picture Mrs. P showed you the picture faded away. I also like how it had a background. In your second image, the figure looks kind of disconnected because there is no background so I think you should try experimenting with one.

  3. You did a really good job with both of these photos!! I like the second one the most. Also I agree with Lindsey. I think the photo would be better if there was a background so you can tell where the silhouette ends. I personally like the white spaces between the flowers. I think it looks more interesting than just a picture completely filled in with flowers. I like how you made the subject black and white to put emphasis on the flower design.

  5. I like how you're capturing the subject now and you're adding different background into your subject, but I think there should be another component to your picture. I agree with other people how you should add a background, just to add more emphasis than having nothing behind. I think maybe you should keep experimenting with what you did for your first image.

  6. I agree with those above me that it would make this strong piece only stronger if you added a background! If you do that, maybe something to experiment with is to make something else in the background the same pattern. This could allow interaction with your subject and the background.

  7. In the first image, I think if you showed jut a little of her facial feature it would look better. The second image is great but if you found a background that would fit, it could be even better than it is right now.
