Concentration Progress

Here is one piece of my concentration that I have somewhat done. In the beginning I was unsure of whether or not diptychs would work with my concept, but I actually like how it turned out. I'm still experimenting with movement and long exposure, and I believe I understand more of what I'm doing. I like the first image, and how it's focused on my subject. I plan on using more positive/negative space when it comes to taking a picture of just my subject. For the second image, I know I can do much better. I did not like how there was a lot of junk in the background, so I'm brainstorming more places to shoot where the background is just plain and simple like a wall, or a background that has more unity to it. When it comes to capturing the movement with long exposure, I realized I was holding the shutter far too long than it needs to be, which is why the subject is coming out really blurry.

I plan on shooting more over this week, as I already came up with more places to shoot at. I'm also thinking of not only shooting outdoors, but indoors as well.
