This is the photo without any manipulation. One thing that I did differently this time is that I filled a Ziploc bag with water, tied the bag to a tripod so the bag would hang over the pan, then I poked a small hole in the bottom of the bag. By doing this instead of having another person hold a bottle upside down I dramatically decreased the possibility of the drop being out of focus because each drop is guaranteed to land in the same location. After I finished shooting I opened the image in Photoshop to manipulate it.
I like these photos a lot. The reflection of the splash upon the waters surface is really neat and makes the photos more interesting. Will you be doing all different colors like the pink ones?
ReplyDeleteI honestly have nothing negative to say about this. The way you are approaching your concentration is phenomenal. Your image is very clear, and your focusing is on point. The way you have set up everything was genius. Have you considered doing a triptych for your growth? It would be interesting to see the movement of the water in the triptych.
