These images are from my most recent shoot with Jesse. Like with Abby I shot in the closet and that is giving me the light that I desired. I really am still missing personality in photos so if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I think I am going to try to work with powder and water but I need to take the lights home in order to do that.

Concentration Update Riley

I think you really hit the mark with getting the lighting exactly the way you wanted. I think you could try having your subjects change their facial expression and show an emotion.
ReplyDeleteLighting is done very well. I think your photo feels too staged, try to make the shots feel more candid and natural.
ReplyDeleteSince the lighting is so dark maybe you could try having your subjects make more exaggerated facial expressions so that you can see them more. You lighting looks really good!
ReplyDeleteI see such improvement throughout your photos! I personally think that the first one is more catching to the eye. A suggestion is maybe using more than one person in the photo.
