I was inspired by Andy Warhol's Elvis pictures to try repeating the subject with increasing transparency. I made three different versions because I was not sure which one looked best. I really like the all yellow one but my principle is analogous colors so I would need to add a different color in to work with my principle. Which do you think looks best or what can I do to improve?

The with background image is the most interesting I think?...
ReplyDeleteI think the image with the background is the most interesting; however, I do not feel like the colors of the person and the background blend well together. I would make the background and the fading person the same color, as you did in the other two images.

ReplyDeleteThe photo with the background is much more attractive to the eye than the others. The design is busy... Even though this kind of art incorporates no background, the background works surprisingly well. Perhaps it's because without the busyness, there is too much negative space and the busy design compensates for the lacking of positive space. Either way, everything ties in well together... I recommend you make this variation of the art as a part of your growth.
