Christopher Echeverria- Concentration
My previous concentration was based on emotions and related to people. I decided to change my concentration to a surrealistic approach with a focus of elements in a cultural sense than a scientific approach. It will focus on the seven chakras of Buddhism and what each of them represent. Each chakra correlates to a certain body part and each body part represents a certain element of life (e.g light, energy, wisdom, snow,balance..etc.)

I think you've found a really good concentration idea. Your first image is very good! The only thing I would suggest is trying to make the fire/hair part blend more with the figure.
ReplyDeleteI think that the idea is very good and what you have here is pretty good. But what you were trying to make it look like while you were working on it would have come out much better. So if you figure out how to do it, it will look really good. But this image itself is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI don't think your emotions are very clear,. Maybe you should try using the studio and then manipulate the elements into the photo, but keep the person realistic. I don't think heavily manipulating the subject, like you did in this photo, makes your theme clear.
